Common questions.

- No — most pieces ship from the firing that has just come out. A form only becomes made-to-order once that firing is spent, and then it is thrown against the next one. Every piece says which it is, on its own page.
- 3–5 working days if it is in stock. If it is being made for you, it leaves with the firing it was thrown for — about six weeks, and we write to you before it goes in the kiln.
- 30 days, unused, and the return postage is ours. The exception is a piece thrown to order: it was made because you asked for it, so it cannot go back on the shelf.
- For two different reasons, depending on which range you are holding. A Sand piece is bare on the outside, so it keeps whatever the kiln did to it — where it stood decides its colour. An Oyster piece is dipped by hand, so the grey settles heavier down one side. Neither is corrected, and neither range is sorted to match.
- Both. It survived 1285 °C in a kiln, so a dishwasher asks nothing of it. In an oven, up to 220 °C — never straight from the fridge, because it is the sudden change and not the heat that cracks a glaze.
- We replace it, and you do not need to send the pieces back. Tell us what broke and a photograph of the box helps us shout at the right courier.
- € 9 inside Germany and € 19 across the EU, free once an order passes € 250. Outside the EU, write first and we will price it properly rather than guess.
